Game Cheats Codes

Cheat mode
During the bounce up during a game, hold Up + Select + X, then release Select, Up, X (in that order). Replace X with Triangle, Circle, or Square for different cheats.

Change player names
At the main menu, press Start, then hold every other button at the same time. A new screen will appear, where you can select the team and then the player that you wish to have his name changed.

Easy wins
Select Brisbane at the Gabba against any other team on the easy difficulty setting and you will be unbeatable.

Reserves
If a player has retired during the last season, there are 10 or more reserves you can put in to replace the retired players(s).

F-15 and Mao-Mao:
Press C-Left, C-Down, C-Right, C-Up, C-Left, C-Right, C-Down when “Press Start” appears on the opening screen. A hidden F-15 with a female pilot (Mao Mao) can now be accessed.

Level select:
Press Up, C-Down, Left, C-Right, Down, C-Up, Right, C-Left, L, R, Z during the opening sequence when the fighters are in flight. A sound will confirm correct code entry. Note: The code must be entered before the title screen appears.

Alternate plane color:
Press R at the plane selection screen in main game, practice or boss attack modes. For death match mode, hold R while selecting one of the four default planes.

Bonus missions:
Complete the following tasks to unlock each bonus mission.

Air Docking:
Accumulate a very high score.
Shuttle Defense: Quickly complete all the levels before the “Desert” level.
Goliath Defense: Successfully complete the first two bonus levels.
Space: Successfully complete all regular missions and “Air Docking”, “Shuttle Defense”, and “Goliath Defense” before reaching the “Ice Cave” level. Successfully complete the “Ice Cave” level to unlock the “Space” level.

F-14 super-attack:
Fire the special weapon followed by a missile and then chaff while flying the F-14. Five Tomahawks and four heat-seekers will then be fired.

Spanky:
Find and successfully compete all bonus missions to unlock Spanky, the second hidden pilot.

Fly enemy planes in deathmatch mode:
A new enemy plane will be available in deathmatch mode for each level completed during game play. A total of six enemy planes may be enabled.

Unlimited continues:
Before reaching one credit remaining, reset the game and continue from the menu that immediately follows the title screen. The game will resume with the same number of credits that were available when the current stage was started.

Hint: Defeating the Boss on level 3:
There is a way to defeat the Boss on the level 3 (with all the bombers) without getting hurt. If possible, clear out some of the numerous bombers. Get to the highest elevation possible. When your fighter is above the Boss on your radar, dive down and fire missiles and the gun. Done correctly, the Boss will not shoot back until your fighter gets too close. Repeat this procedure until he is defeated.

Alternatively, after clearing out some of the numerous bombers climb t to the highest elevation possible. When you fighter is above the Boss on your radar, dive down and wait until your fighter is locked on the Boss. Fire the missiles and go through the Boss. Your fighter should explode. When the game restarts the Boss will still have the damage inflicted by your attack. Repeat the steps until the Boss is defeated.

Easy multi-player kills:
Select the F-15 (if available) in multi-player mode. Use the special weapon as soon as the dogfight begins. This should completely destroy your opponents in one shot. For a better chance, place enable infinite specials in the settings.

Ice Cave shortcut:
Fly down the cave until it widens. Then turn around and fly back. Pass through the gray bars and continue until the Boss appears.

A-7 Corsair
Successfully complete Air To Ground #4 at the Aero Meet.

A-7E U.S. Navy colors
Successfully complete twenty carrier landings.

A-10
Successfully complete all the surface attack objectives at the Aero Meet.

AV-8B Harrier Jump Jet
Successfully completing VTOL training releases.

Apache Longbow
Successfully complete combat training.

Blue Impulse F-86 fighter
Collect the Blue Impulse squadron icon in free flight mode on the island level.

Blue Impulse T2 trainer
Collect the Blue Impulse squadron icon under the suspension bridge in free flight mode on the bay level.

C-1
Successfully complete the maneuver objectives at the Aero Meet.

Cobra
Successfully complete helicopter training.

F-104J fighter
Fly at Mach 2.0 or faster. Note: Try getting to an extremely high altitude and go into a dive.

F-105 drone
Fly over 50,000 feet in training mode.

F-14B Test Bed
Successfully complete reconnaissance mission 2.

F-15 Aggressor 1
Get a total of 50 aerial kills.

F-15 Aggressor 2
Get a total of 100 aerial kills.

F-15 Aggressor 3
Get a total of 150 aerial kills.

F-15 Aggressor 4
Get a total of 200 aerial kills.

F-15 Aggressor 5
Get a total of 250 kills.

F-15 Aggressor 6
Get a total of 300 aerial kills.

F-15 Aggressor 7
Get a total of 350 aerial kills.

F-15C
Successfully complete the ACM objectives at the Aero Meet.

F-15J
Successfully complete ten scrambles.

F-2A support fighter
Successfully complete the ACM maneuver objectives.

F-2B
Successfully complete fifty scrambles.

F-4E Phantom
Shoot down the F-4E Phantom in scramble mode after being instructed to by the control tower.

F-86
Accumulate one hour in training mode.

FA-18 Hornet
Successfully complete the carrier landing training releases.

Mig-21
The Mig-21 can be unlocked in the scramble missions. When you see it, shoot it down.

Mirage 2000C
The Mirage 2000C can be unlocked in the scramble missions. When you see it, shoot it down.

Oh-6
Successfully complete helicopter training.

Su-25
Shoot down the SU-25 in scramble mode only if instructed by the control tower.

Su-27 (Camouflage) fighter
Successfully complete reconnaissance mission 3.

Tornado
The Tornado can be unlocked in the scramble missions. When you see it, shoot it down.

More frequent scrambles
Increase the DEFCON level in the options screen, then enter and exit various menu screens several times.

Cheat mode
Enter the “Extras” screen from the main menu, then select the “Cheats” option to display a military-style alphabet code entry screen (Alpha for “A”, Bravo for “B”, Charlie for “C”, etc.). Select the proper words to spell one of the following codes. If you entered the code correctly, the message “Cheat Unlocked” will appear. To activate the cheats, pause the game and select the “Cheats” option.

Invincibility
Enter “TRIROX” as a code.

Refill health
Enter “HEALME” as a code.

Infinite health
Enter “CLONE” as a code.

Infinite power strikes
Enter “LCVG” as a code.

Infinite ammunition
Enter “FUG” as a code.

One-hit kills
Enter “BUCKFST” as a code.

Free fatalities
Enter “CUTIONE” as a code.

Action movies
Enter “BAGMAN” or “UKGAMER” as a code to unlock the corresponding Action movie while playing the game.

All slide shows
Enter “PIXES” as a code to unlock all slide shows at the “Extras” screen.

All Replay episodes
Enter “BAYOU” as a code to unlock all Replay episodes at the “Extras” screen.

Bomber Jacket costume
Enter “JACKET” as a code to unlock the Bomber Jacket costume at the “Extras” screen.

Fame costume
Enter “GRAY” as a code to unlock the Fame costume at the “Extras” screen.

Fashion Una, Hostess Judy, Monican Freya, and Una costumes
Enter “CLOTHES” as a code to unlock the Fashion Una, Hostess Judy, Monican Freya, and Una costumes at the “Extras” screen.

Mrs. Goodchild costumes
Enter “WHITE” as a code to unlock the Mrs. Goodchild costumes at the “Extras” screen.

Revelation costumes
Enter “ARMS” as a code to unlock the Revelation costumes at the “Extras” screen.

War costumes
Enter “BLUR” as a code to unlock the War costumes at the “Extras” screen.

Seed costumes
Enter “MOVIE” or “URBAN” as a code to unlock the corresponding Seed costumes at the “Extras” screen.
