Level select
At the main menu, hold R1 + R2 + Circle and press Down, L2, Up, L1, Square, Down(4), Up. If you entered the code correctly, you will hear a sound.

Infinite health

Successfully complete and save the game with Leon. Select “New Game” and enter “@CRAZY” as a name.

Pumpkin mode
Successfully complete and save the game with Joachim Armster. Select “New Game” and enter “@PUMPKIN” as a name. You can use a pumpkin sub-weapon in this mode.

Boss Rush mode
Successfully complete and save the game . Boss Rush mode will now be unlocked for that character at the level selection screen.

Music test
Successfully complete and save the game with any character. Buy the Music Box at Rinaldo’s shop to hear any song from the game.

Duplicating items
Go to the corridor outside the first save point in the castle entrance. Stand between the second and third candle, on the red stripe part of the carpet close to the window. Stand on the second shadow reflected by the moonlight while still on the stripe (looks like a black pole on the ground). Face the window and press Start and go to your items. Move the pointer up and down to duplicate.

Finding secret items
If you see a different colored brick on the ground, try standing on it. You may find secret items.

Ice Whip
Go to the Waterfall level. Go to the tunnel where there is a door shape on a big rock (b1 where there is an axe sub-weapon, on the right corner on the map.) Walk back to where you will see an armored opponent with a chainball. Make him follow you towards the wall. Stand in front of the wall. Let him hit you. When he hits you, he should break the wall. Go in, then move up. From the first door, run towards your screen, then jump onto a pillar (jump from the middle). From the pillar, make your way up and to the Ice Element. Defeat her and get the Ice Whip.

Fire Whip
First, go to the Anti-Soul Mysteries Lab second floor and find the room with the moving platform. Follow it until you get to the second platform on the right. After jumping over the platform, look for two yellow poles. Hook over the two poles. On the upper side, you can find the monster named Flame Element. Defeat him and he will give you the Fire Whip.

Thunder Whip
Go to the Garden Forgotten By Time, then go to the room with the second Man-Eater (room with the Man-Eater and Peeping Eyes). Kill the Peeping Eyes and move the Man-Eater to the top right corner. Hit the Man-Eater plant until it opens, then jump on it and double jump onto the ledge. Keep going until you reach the second floor and kill the Thunder Element to obtain the Thunder Whip.

Crystal Skull
Equip three Raccoon Charms (duplicate the Raccoon Charm). Fight the Phantom Skeletons and with luck, one will drops the Crystal Skull (relic). Also, Crystal Skull is a rare drop from Phantoms. The easiest place to find it is in the Pagoda Of The Misty Moon first floor. They are the skeletons that are almost invisible except for the clouding around them. To make it easier, you can get Coin Of Happiness, which increases Luck by 5 points from Hanged Men. The easiest place to find them is in the Anti-Soul Mysteries Lab on the third floor, in the room with the crumbling bridge. Additionally, the Crystal Skull relic is a rare item drop from the Phantom Skeleton which are found in the Pagoda Of The Misty Moon level. It helps to have the Raccoon Charm equipped (which increases luck). They are found in the Dark Palace Of Waterfalls on top of one of the rooms with the swinging pendulums. You will see a heart increase. You have to jump to the other side of the room to get the Raccoon Charm.

Invincible Jar
Defeat the Mirage Skeleton. It is a rare drop, so keep trying. The foe is located in the first floor of the castle before you meet the final Boss.

Keys
In each level, there are keys to unlock hidden doors. The keys are located in the following levels:
Anti-Soul Mysteries Lab: Red Phoenix Lock, Yellow Dragon Key
Garden Forgotten By Time: Blue Dragon Lock, Red Phoenix Key
The House Of Scared Remains: Yellow Dragon Lock, White Tiger Key
The Dark Palace Of Waterfalls: Black Turtle Lock, Blue Dragon Key
Ghostly Theater: White Tiger Lock, Black Turtle Key

Member Plate
Defeat the Spartacus Skeletons. They drop a Member Plate. This item will give you 10% off items in the store. Also, Spartacus Skeletons are larger and have the bigger swords and shields. An easy place to fight them is in the Pagoda Of The Misty Moon, on the second floor, in the right most wing in the tower area.

White Orb
Go to the Anti-Soul Mysteries Lab. From the start, go to the door that is behind you when you first get into the stage. Then, go through the rooms until you find the room at the right side of the map. There is a room with a big rock figure in front of it. Use the Fire Wipe on it until it is red, then change to the Ice to crack it. The door can now be opened. The Ice Orb is inside.

Finding the Frost Elemental
In the Palace Of Dark Waterfalls on the first floor, take a left at the first “Y”, and a left at the second. You will see an outline of a door. Walk up to it and an Armor Knight will appear behind you. Lure the knight towards the outline. When he does the move where he throws the ball at you, dodge it, and it will knock away the bricks in front of the door. After some double jumps and rail whips, you will reach the first door. Rail whip to the balcony on the left of the door, and blindly jump straight forward from the rightmost corner of that balcony. You should land on a small platform. If not, you will see it and know where it is located. After a couple more rail whips, you will reach the door to the Frost Elemental’s room.

Fighting the Forgotten One
Go to the second floor of the Pagoda. In the left tower is a dark room. Once inside the dark room, jump to the left. Look for platforms that go to the left. Note: You need Wolf’s Foot. Once you find the path, you will get an Unlock jewel. This is the jewel that is needed to unlock the way to the Prison Of Eternal Torture.

In-game reset
While playing the game, hold Start + Select.

All Skills Mode
Clear the game with Leon once and save that game. Start a new game on another slot and enter the name @LLSKILL. Leon will have all his skills when he begins the game.

Unlock Jade Mask Item
Clearing the game will unlock the Jade Mask for sale at the shop.

Unlock Mobius Brooch Item
Clearing the game on Crazy Mode will unlock the Mobius Brooch in the shop.

Unlock Sound Test
Clear the game once with any character and save that game. The Music Box will be available for purchase in Rinaldo’s shop for all future games (you only need to buy it once and save the purchase to that game).

Unlock Boss Rush Mode
Clear the game with any character and save that game. That game’s character may head back to the stage select room and opt to try Boss Rush Mode, that is a time attack mode against all the bosses in the game in the order they appear in the Encyclopedia.

Unlock Crazy Mode
Clear the game with Leon once and save that game. Start a new game on another slot and enter the name @CRAZY. Crazy mode is much harder than the normal game, and Leon starts with a defence of zero.

Unlock Joachim’s Game
Clear the game with Leon once and save that game. Start a new game on another slot and enter the name @JOACHIM. Joachim’s game is played differently, and the character has no access to any weapons, armour, or health restoration items.

Unlock Pumpkin Game
Clear the game with Joachim once and save that game. Start a new game on another slot and enter the name @PUMPKIN. The Pumpkin game starts the character off with all skills and the Vampire Killer, as well as increased stats. However, there are no subweapons available other than the initial subweapon.

Fire Whip
First, go to the Anti-Soul Mysteries Lab second floor and find the room with the moving platform. Follow it until you get to the second platform on the right. After jumping over the platform, look for two yellow poles. Hook over the two poles. On the upper side, you can find the monster named Flame Element. Defeat him and he will give you the Fire Whip.

Duplicator Glitch
There’s a way to duplicate your items. Enter the castle and head to the door that leads to the Save Room and the room to the other 5 stages. In the hallway near the Save Room, look on the carpet for a green spot of color. Go stand on it, facing the window and open up your subscreen and go to your item list. By scrolling through your item list each item mysteriously increases by one.

Duplicator Glitch #2
There is a second spot inside the Pagoda of Misty Moon where items can be duplicated (again). On the second floor hallway, stand near the second circle design on the carpet (on the map, it will be near the east side of the stage). Press START to enter the item screen and glitch away.

Duplicator Glitch #3
The hallway outside the VI Stone room allows items to be duplicated through the start menu (see Duplicator Glitch #2).

Easter Island statue
Have a saved game file from Castlevania: Lament Of Innocence on your memory card to get an Moai statue worth 5,000 gold.

Play as Trevor Belmont
Successfully complete the game. Then, start a new game and enter “@TREVOR” as a name to play as Trevor Belmont. Trevor cannot craft items or use innocent devils.

Crazy mode
Successfully complete the game. Then, start a new game and enter “@CRAZY” as a name to play on the Crazy difficulty setting.

Boss Rush mode
Successfully complete the game. Then, enter to a warp room to access Boss Rush mode.

Moebius Brooch
Successfully complete the game on the Crazy difficulty setting to unlock the Moebius Brooch at the shop. When this item is equipped it allows you to do special moves without using hearts.

Sound mode
Successfully complete Boss Rush mode to unlock the music box in the warp room. This item allows access to the “Sound Mode” option to play various music from the game.

Defeating Isaac
Before you start the first battle with Isaac, make sure the second Innocent Devil you have is leveled up to Water Golem and put in defense. Then, equip the Rapier and continue. The Black Demon will mostly attack your demon, but it will not get through its defense because it is in Water Golem form. When Isaac twirls his spear and slams it down, jump to avoid the shockwave. After his combo attack, attack him with the Rapier to get in a lot of hits. When Isaac yells ”Kill him”, the demon will sink into the ground and follow you. When Isaac laughs that indicates that the demon will attack where it is. Do not attack Isaac while he has the demon attacking you. Wait for it to attack your demon, then attack Isaac. Isaac will also use a tornado. Run away when he uses it, then repeat this to defeat him.

Stealing Boss items

Crazy Armor
Steal: Galtite
Uses: Hien, Force Gloves
In its first stage, Crazy Armor will do a long-range attack where it will try to “headbutt” you. Go behind it and steal the item. You will have a good amount of time if you dodge it close enough to its body.

Wyvern
Steal: Shortcake
Uses: HP Restore
At the beginning of the battle, Wyvern will burrow its head into the ground. You must jump onto its body and stay on it while the Wyvern takes flight. You have some good time to damage it while it flies. About seven or eight seconds, steal the Shortcake from the Wyvern’s neck. You will take no damage when you fall.

Trevor Belmont (Round 1)
Steal: None
Uses: None

Skeleton Diver
Steal: Sushi
Uses: HP Restore
Later in the battle, the Skeleton Driver and the Zombie Fish will jump onto the platform together and slide toward you. Dodge to the side, then jump and steal before they retreat to the water.

Minotaur
Steal: Devil Iron
Uses: Hien
Later in the battle, the Minotaur will leap and try to slam directly on top of you. It usually does this at long range. When it is far away, wait for it to jump, then run backwards a short distance. Then, double jump into its face to steal the Devil Iron. The double jump should be timed just before the Minotaur lands.

Isaac (Round 1)
Steal: Devil’s Vein
Uses: Chavre-Souris (Isaac’s signature lance, prerequisite to summon The End. Gather 100 Evo Crystals on your Brow ID to evolve)
Isaac will occasionally use the second attack’s finisher (sliding, smash upwards) at long range. He usually does this at the beginning of the battle. Block or dodge the slide, then steal as he lands. To make things easier, use the Phoenix ID’s Big Bang (kill a certain number of enemies level 25 or higher) attack to instantly kill Abel (Isaac’s The End summon), as he does not count as a Boss. Big Bang does not affect Bosses.

Saint Germain
Steal: Immortal Fragment
Uses: Gatling Gun
Keep a strong Mage-type ID out. Occasionally, Saint Germain will freeze time and hit you with a giant slash or explosion attack. Using Time Stop while time is frozen cancels out the freeze altogether and will allow you to steal the item.

Trevor Belmont (Round 2)
Steal: Curry
Uses: HP Restore
Trevor uses a more powerful version of the Cross Heart weapon (the regular one is the boomerang), where he leaps in the air yelling “Holy Cross!”. Immediately after he lands, but before the light fades, steal from him.

Dullahan
Steal: Purple Glitter
Uses: Laser Blade (Isaac’s weapon in the introduction sequence and second Boss battle)
Be very careful doing this, because making a mistake will cause you a lot of damage. At the beginning of the battle, he will leap into the air and send out a multi-hit shockwave. This opens the steal window. To get him to do it up close, block or Perfect Guard his sword attacks. Occasionally he will use a rush attack similar to the Great Armors in Eneomaos Machine Tower — be on the defensive. When he does the leap, do a normal jump and steal from him. If you are too far, delay your second jump or jump over the first hit and Perfect Guard the second.

Isaac (Round 2)
Steal: Cheese
Uses: HP Restore
Isaac is very different the second time you fight him, and seems to be lightweight. Equip a fast weapon like a Bastard Sword or a Laser Blade (if available), or a Knuckle-class weapon. Use the first finishing move to send Isaac flying across the room. Do it near a wall, and quickly press the button to steal, as he must be airborne.

Death
Steal: Death’s Pulse
Uses: Death’s Scythe (strongest weapon in the game, because of the sheer difficulty to get this item)
First, make sure you are experienced with your Perfect Guards. When fighting Death, have a Fairy-type ID summoned. After losing the first lifebar, Death will sparingly (perhaps twice in ten minutes) use a Supernova attack. He will condense a fireball in his hands for a brief moment, then throw it out onto the battlefield. Stay next to Death while he does this and prepare yourself. Block the first hit from the Supernova, then proceed to Perfect Guard the rest of the hits, which are in a specific rhythm. If one is accidentally guarded, then you have one chance to Perfect Guard the next. If you do not, you must to start over. Jump into the air after the last hit, but before the fire dissipates and steal. The window will open, then close, but the game will acknowledge that you have Death’s Pulse. Fortunately, Death occasionally does this attack twice in a row, if you should fail the first time.

Legion
Steal: Pizza
Uses: HP Restore
Fight Legion using a longer range weapon with decent speed, like the Chavre-Souris or the Laser Blade so you can take out both Legion and the corpses that will do heavy damage to you. Also, use a flying ID, like a Crimson or Indigo or The End. After its shell collapses entirely, get on a ledge higher than it. You have approximately 12 to 15 seconds to move to a higher point. Take a free fall into Legion when it glows with a malevolent purple aura. Time the steal to take the Pizza in mid-fall. Quickly run to the edge of the room to avoid Legion’s final shell from crushing you and prepare for Legion’s second form.

Nuculais
Steal: Napoletana
Uses: HP Restore
Nuculais is the game’s ultimate optional Boss. It can kill you very quickly. It has a laser that will kill you in less than ten seconds if you are less than level 50. It also has a telekinesis attack that will throw exploding corpses at you, a liquid-teleportation attack that damages you, a series of slaps, a flying sword dash, and a giant-transformation move. However, the move to look for is a grab attack. He will rear his arm back and then forward, extending at you. Perfect Guard the attack then rush him and steal.

Dracula (Round 1)
Steal: Tomato Juice
Uses: HP Restore
Dracula will open a pair of demonic wings and disappear, saying “I’ll burn you to ashes!” He will then reappear for a grab attack that does serious damage. Dodge or jump away when he reappears and steal from his face. He does this attack quite often.

Dracula (Round 2)
Steal: Vampire Blood
Uses: Dracula’s Clothes (great armor)
Dracula is now a huge vampiric black angel. Occasionally but rarely, Dracula will back away and rush the platform with a huge destructive punch. After he does it, jump into him and steal from his chest. The punch is easy to avoid, but a shockwave follows it which will mess up the steal and do serious damage. You can double jump the punch and the wave, or use the Fairy-type Tiramisu’s Invincibility Jar technique.
