Game Cheats Codes

Unlockable: All Star
Finish the Story Mode.

Random Groove
At the Groove selection screen, press Start.

Boss challenge mode
Boss challenge mode becomes available under the following two conditions. Both hidden Bosses (God Rugal, Shin Akuma/Gouki) must already be defeated and unlocked. Hold Square + Triangle while selecting arcade mode.

Extra options
Clear Boss challenge mode with no continues to unlock the “Extra Option” in the game.

Infinite custom groove
Defeat all characters straight in survival mode and the custom groove option settings will become infinite.

Victory quotes
Hold Start + FP after winning a stage to make your character say an opponent specific quote. Hold Start + FK to make the character talk with a team member.

Hidden Bosses
Hidden Bosses can be used once they have been defeated. The conditions of the Bosses to appear (Shin Gouki or God Rugal, randomly) are to fulfill two out of the following three conditions:

Achieve over 1500 GPS by the end of the game.
Defeat the Middle Boss (Geese or Bison/Vega).
Achieve at least one Ultimate KO.

Custom Grooves
The Custom Groove option appears once a normal Boss has been defeated (normal Akuma/Gouki or Rugal). Normal Bosses appear by fulfilling two of the four following conditions:

Achieve over 1000 GPS by the end of the game.
Achieve four or more special KOs.
Middle Boss has appeared.
Achieve two or more LV3 super combo KOs.

Middle Boss conditions
The middle Boss appears when the following conditions are all fulfilled:

No time over has occurred.
The CPU has not made over six “first attacks”.
The CPU has not made three or more Special KOs.

Hold TRIANGLE + SQUARE when confirming arcade mode. Both Shin Gouki and God Rugal must also be unlocked for this code to work.

Hint: Fight Mid-Bosses
The mid-boss appears to fight you all the following have occured:

No match has ended with a time out
Computer has made less than 6 first attacks
Computer has made less than 3 special KOs

Unlock 1 On 3 Tag Match:
Confirm your first fighter on the character select screen and let the time run out before confirming your remaining two choices.

Unlock Infinite Custom Groove Option:
Defeat all opponents straight in survival mode.

Unlock Extra Options:
Clear boss challenge mode without continuing.

Hint: Unlock Hidden Bosses
Hidden bosses can be played when they have been beaten. To make them show up, you need to do any two of the following in a tournament:

Accrue at least 1500 GPS at the game
Beat the mid-boss (Geese or Bison/Vega)
Perform at least one Finest KO

Capcom groove unlocks God Rugal, while SNK groove unlocks Shin Gouki.

Hint: Victory Hawgwash
Hold START + FIERCE PUNCH after winning a fight (not a round) to give a parting taunt to the opponent …

… Or hold START + FIERCE KICK to offer thanks to a fellow teammate instead.

Hint: Unlock Custom Groove
Custom groove is unlocked when the “hidden boss” is beaten.

Hidden Bosses:
You can play as hidden bosses once they have been beaten. The conditions of the Bosses to appear are to meet two out of the following three conditions. If you play with a Capcom character you will get God Rugal, and if you play with a SNK character you will get Shin Gouki.

Highlighter any fighter at the character select screen and press a button. Allow time to run out and the game will start in one on three tag team mode. Do not choose one on one battle mode.

Extra color edit mode options:
Press Start when editing the colors for your character to display more options.

Codes
During gameplay, press ESC. Then press “A” and “A” again. You will now see a monitor with some writing on it. Press “A” to enter any of the following cheats, and “B” to exit:
