When you are mixing mushrooms in your inventory, you will hear a sound. When you are wandering around the same sound will indicated that a mushroom has appeared. You can also wait for the sound to play again to get another mushroom. Note: Listen for that sound when fighting the last Boss.

If you find Prince Thirneg, use the “/hail” command on him. After he talks to you, respond with “I have come here for Phat Lewts.” Expect a surprise.
In Butcherblock Mountains, there are large skunks. Level 3 and/or buffs are recommended when facing them. They sometimes drop claws called “Pristine Skunk Claws”. The claws are worth about 3 platinums and a few gold/silver/coppers. You can sell them to the merchants all over Butcherblock Mountains. They are usually inside the houses.
Do wholesaler’s tasks (Tradeskill quests). Tier 1 quests give 3 silver and Tier 2 give 12 silver. If you do not want to spend time harvesting for the quests, buy off the broker.
To become a Goblin Killer, be a Mage, Priest or Scout and kill alot of Grutooths.
