Continue
When GAME OVER appears, press A, B, Start, and Select.
Invincibility
At the Title Screen, press Up, Up, Up, Down, Left, Right, Up, Start. You’re now invincible except for when you fall off of pits.
Level Select
At the Title Screen, press Up, Down, Left, Right, B, B, B, B, Start. Select stages using Select and begin by pressing A.
Bonus items
Locate the large white and red mushroom in the first level. Crouch on top of the mushroom to collect the Fire Sword, Dragon Helmet, and Lion’s Shield.
Fast Mode
After beating the game, start the game over, and the enimies will be 2x faster. Their speed seems to increase with every consecutive continuing after the game ends. (This makes the ninjas at the last stage very hard.)
Grey puzzle
To get a grey puzzle in the third playing board (or higher), keep pushing “A” to keep your token on the gray square. Eventually it will give you a puzzle. It’s not worth anything, but it’s a fun little idea. And you still get to go anywhere on the board.
Continue on the Same Level
After you lose all your lives, and get “Game Over”, hold A + B at the title screen and press Select 5 times, then hit START.
Level Skip
Right before a round starts, hold START and A to skip to the next level. This only works up to level 16. After pressing start and A, press select and B and you will be able to skip to level 45.
