Cheat mode

During single player tournaments, the following options can be turned on or purchased if you have a fully maxed out player at the cost of 25 experience points each: “God Mode”, “Slow Motion”, and “Extra Team Decals”. All of these options are accessed for arcade mode by going into the “My Character” menu selection and pressing White after your player has been maxed out. Additionally, if you get first in every tournament you will be able to choose two of the three options. Note: This will not work if you use the “Get to the top of the tournaments” trick to get to the finals of any tournament; you will only be able to choose one of the three options.

Level select

At the main menu, press Y, R, Y, X, Y, R, X, L, X(3), Y. Note: This also unlocks The Greatest Escape mode.

Pause the game with a gun and health kit in your inventory, then press Y, X, L, R, L, R, X, Y, L, Y(2), R. If you entered the code correctly, a message will appear.

While playing the game, press R, Black, L, B, Left, Down, Right, Up, Left, Down, Right, Up. If you entered the code correctly, a message will appear. Note: If this code is enabled when there is damage on your car, the meter will be reset to zero without changing the visible effects of the damage.

Cheat code warning

You should be careful on using cheat codes too frequently until you complete the mission where you save Madd Dogg from jumping off the casino rooftop. The game will prevent you from completing this mission if codes have been used excessively; this number appears to be cheats being used 500 or more times. When this number has been exceeded, Madd Dogg will jump off the roof in a few seconds, making it impossible to save him. Note: If you encounter this problem, enable the “Slow motion” or “Adrenaline effects” codes to get there faster. You still must be quick in order to save Madd Dogg. Continue reading »
