When at bat, hold Up to send the ball farther out. This increases the risk of hitting a fly ball to the outfield.
First, pitch the ball in the strike zone. If it is a strike, on the second pitch throw a fastball outside the strike zone. After one pitch like that, the batter will start swinging to almost any pitch.
