The Highly-Anticipated Music Creation Tool is Now Available in North America
Videogame publisher XSEED Games announced today that KORG DS-10 has started shipping to retailers in North America for the Nintendo DS. The KORG DS-10 is music creation software that combines the superior interface of the Nintendo DS and the design concept of the famous MS-10 synthesizer.
“The KORG DS-10 Synthesizer…[is] not quite a game…yet at the same time, it’s the ultimate game,” said James Mielke, Editor in Chief at 1up.com. He continues, “…the more you invest yourself, the more surprised you’ll be at exactly what you can accomplish with this innovative, groundbreaking piece of software. Keyboard, DJ tool, game? It’s all of these things.”
Other editors agree that the KORG DS-10 revolutionizes portable music creation software:
“The DS-10 produces an outstanding software facsimile, and it also makes superb use of touchscreen interface to capture the feel of using one of these awesome old school synthesizers in person. All fans and performers of music should explore XSEED’s KORG DS-10.”
- Mike Griffin, Play Magazine
“It’s a serious music tool that can create incredible sounds. If your voice goes up an octave at prospect of having a fully functioning analogue synth you can carry around in your pocket then prepare to have your pitch knobs twisted because this really does do everything the iconic synth does, and more.”
- Alex Simmons, IGN
“As a musical tool, the DS-10 has no compare, on or off game hardware. For the electronic musician, this software is a no-brainer.”
