EA will release another Need For Speed game for Wii and DS this year. Called Need For Speed: Nitro, it is being developed specifically for Wii and DS and according to EA it will have a unique visual design and new gameplay ideas.
Need For Speed Nitro sounds like it will be more of an arcade experience as you’ll be able to build up boost by drifting and dragging behind your opponents. EA say you’ll be able to use it strategically to change the course of the race as you look out for the cops.
The new game in the racing series is being developed by EA Montreal who developed Skate It, SSX Blur and Boogie Superstar for Wii.
Need For Speed Nitro will be released in the Autumn.
